Pneumatic Pop-Up Kit

Product Information

One of the most common pneumatic props, the Pop-Up has been a favorite of haunts sincecompressed air was first used in the dark amusement industry. Perhaps the most popular application is in trash cans, where the cylinder, disguised by a mask and clothes, raises up the lid to surprise any passerby. Other uses could be for popping up from behind a tombstone or wall, or a more elaborate pop-up where a free standing monster rises up, supported by the cylinder.

This kit comes with all of the pneumatic parts needed, including:

18" stroke, 1-1/16" bore air cylinder
Your choice of a 12VDC or 110VAC air valve
Two flow control valves which mount directly to the cylinder and allow you to control the speed at which the cylinder rises and lowers
All necessay fittings
Black polyurethane tubing

PLEASE NOTE: This kit is for the pneumatic components only. To animate the prop, you will need to use a prop controller or some other means to operate it. We suggest for full automation, using one of the many great picoBoo or BooBox products.

If you intend to use multiple pneumatic props from one air compressor, you may need to install an air regulator to control air pressure to each prop.
